Welcome to the Highlands Guidance Department

 

The philosophy of the Highlands Middle School Counseling Department is based on the belief that every student is important and unique.  Our counseling staff is dedicated to fostering the development of our young adolescent students.  The work we do with individual students reflects this philosophy and guides us in our role as student advocates.  Counselors meet regularly with students, teachers, parents, and school leaders to create meaningful programs to cultivate students' academic and social/emotional development.
